This guitar is stunning and plays amazing - awesome color with natural aging. The guitar is 100% original, with a couple of the solder points being touched up recently during its evaluation on the bench.
What is interesting about this guitar is that it was likely one of the guitars that was built from left over Fullerton, CA parts (specifically from the beginning of this AVRI series 1982-1984). The body was definitely a Fullerton leftover being that it has the correct worm route (below the bridge pickup - not triangular like 1985+), has the correct saddles (same direction Fender print), body curves are 82-84, and the neck cavity has the correct 2-hole placement as well as "GONZAL" name which I've seen on other Fullerton AVRIs. The pickups are also likely from the Fullerton plant - black bottom with some remaining lacquer on the pole pieces (likely most was cleaned off over the years).
